National Night Out

This year marks the 27th anniversary of National Night Out’s celebration of neighborhoods and communities. The event strengthens communities by:

Heightening crime and drug prevention awareness;
Generating support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs;
Strengthening neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
Sending a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Numerous National Night Events are scheduled in our district each year. We post them on our calendar – be sure to let us know of events planned in your neighborhood.
